We are seeking a dedicated Security Officer to join our team in Kenner, United States. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for our employees, visitors, and property through vigilant monitoring, prompt response to incidents, and adherence to security protocols.

  • Patrol designated areas on foot or using company-provided vehicles to monitor for suspicious activities, safety hazards, or security breaches
  • Respond promptly and professionally to emergency situations following established procedures and protocols
  • Monitor surveillance systems and control access points to maintain facility security
  • Conduct regular security checks of buildings, grounds, and perimeter
  • Maintain detailed logs and prepare incident reports documenting all security-related activities
  • Manage and control the distribution of keys and access cards
  • Coordinate with local law enforcement and emergency services when necessary
  • Enforce company security policies and procedures
  • Assist visitors and employees with security-related inquiries and concerns

Qualifications

  • Must be at least 21years of age
  • Physical ability to stand and walk for extended periods, and perform tasks requiring lifting, reaching, kneeling, and bending
  • Strong observation and surveillance skills with attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Proven decision-making and problem-solving capabilities
  • Proficiency in completing detailed security reports and documentation
  • Experience with security monitoring systems and emergency response protocols
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
  • Ability to obtain and maintain required security certifications
  • Basic computer skills for report writing and communication
  • Previous security experience in a corporate environment preferred
  • Must be available to work various shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Ability to remain calm and professional in high-pressure situations
