As a Security Officer 1st Shift - Unarmed in Savannah, GA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a leading aerospace and defense location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, support access control, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and contractors at an aerospace and defense location while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, access points, parking areas, hangars, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual activity, unauthorized access, or potential hazards.
• Monitor access control points and verify credentials, visitor authorizations, and contractor access in accordance with site-specific requirements.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and document observations and actions taken.
• Complete accurate daily activity reports, incident reports, and shift communications while maintaining awareness of site operations and supporting a professional environment.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 20 lbs is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 19 years of age for role
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
