We are currently seeking a Security Manager Nordics to lead, coordinate, and further develop our security and protective security framework across Sweden, Norway, Denmark, Finland, Iceland, and the Baltic statesThis role is ideal for a security professional with several years of experience who is ready to take the next step into a larger, international organization.
You will collaborate with authorities, customers, and internal stakeholders to ensure compliance with national security legislation, EU regulations, and customer requirements. In this role, you will support senior leadership by enabling secure and compliant operations in security-sensitive environments, while actively driving security awareness and embedding security into regional business processes and decision-making
KeyResponsibilities
Lead and manage security vetting and clearance processes across the Nordics in line with national regulations and customer requirements
Act as the primary liaison with national security authorities, EU bodies, and relevant stakeholders
Ensure compliance with protective security legislation, contractual obligations, and internal policies
Advise senior leadership and business units on security risks, regulatory requirements, and protective security matters
Own, develop, and maintain security governance, policies, and procedures across the region
Lead business continuity planning and crisis preparedness to ensure organizational resilience
Manage and maintain information security frameworks (e.g., ISO 27001), including audits and certifications
Oversee incident management, reporting, and follow-up of security-related events
Ensure secure handling of sensitive information in line with customer and regulatory requirements
Drive and promote a strong security culture and support business development within high-security sectors
KeyAccountabilities
Ensure compliance with Nordic national security legislation, EU regulations, and customer security obligations
Enable business operations within security-sensitive and regulated environments
Maintain strong and trusted relationships with authorities, customers, and internal stakeholders
Safeguard the company’s reputation, compliance posture, and operational resilience in the Nordics
Requirements
Swedish citizenship (additional citizenships acceptable)
3-7 years of relevant experience within protective security, security management, or security sensitive operations
Experience from a role such as Säkerhetsskyddschef, Deputy security manager, or Security consultant
Good understanding of Swedish and Nordic security protection legislation
Documented experience in business continuity planning and crisis management
Knowledge of information security principles and security governance frameworks
Ability to collaborate with authorities, customers, and senior internal stakeholders
Fluent in English (Nordic language skills are an advantage)
Eligible for securityclearance
