This role serves as a key operational leader, translating global security strategy into effective site-level execution across multiple countries while building strong partnerships with business leaders and supporting the Global Security Program. The ideal candidate is a proactive security professional with a strong background in physical security operations, investigations, and program development.
This individual will play a critical role in strengthening the organization’s security posture, enhancing site engagement, and driving a culture of safety and preparedness across the Americas.
Key Responsibilities
Security Operations & Strategy
Deliver physical security programs across the Americas in alignment with global strategy
Oversee daily security operations, including incident response, escalation, and reporting
Support crisis management activities, including coordination and post-incident reviews
Maintain and enhance security standards, policies, and procedures
Risk Management & Site Engagement
Conduct site assessments and provide clear, actionable recommendations
Identify and mitigate risks in alignment with business and security priorities
Evaluate guarding operations and physical security systems (CCTV, access control, alarms)
Support business continuity and emergency preparedness planning
Promote security awareness and best practices across sites
Investigations & Executive Support
Lead or support internal investigations, ensuring appropriate documentation and escalation
Produce concise, executive-level reports and risk assessments
Support executive protection planning for travel and events, as required
Partner with HR, Legal, and leadership on sensitive matters
Vendor & Program Management
Manage contract security providers to ensure performance and compliance with standards
Support vendor selection, onboarding, and ongoing performance management
Drive consistency and effectiveness across regional security programs
Collaboration & Culture
Deliver training, awareness initiatives, and preparedness exercises
Partner with Facilities, IT, HR, Legal, and HSE on security-related matters
Support site openings, relocations, and security projects
Build strong stakeholder relationships to support program adoption
Qualifications & Experience
7+ years’ experience in corporate or physical security
Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent professional experience
Experience in security operations, investigations, or program delivery
Knowledge of physical security systems and technologies
Experience managing third-party security vendors
Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment
Willingness to travel regionally (10–20%)
Additional Skills
Understanding of security design and infrastructure
Familiarity with compliance frameworks (e.g., CTPAT, FTZ)
Strong analytical and problem-solving capability
High level of discretion when handling sensitive information
Proficiency with Google Workspace or similar tools
Flexibility to support occasional after-hours incidents
