Responsibilities
As a The Eglin Security Manager you will:
- Provide site-level security management and oversight in support of classified mission activities within a DoW SAP and SCI environment. This position supports a Government client at Eglin and is responsible for coordinating day-to-day security operations, ensuring compliance with applicable Government security requirements, and integrating local site support with broader program security objectives.
- Serve as the primary on-site security focal point for supported personnel, facilities, and mission activities.
- Lead and coordinate site security support activities for assigned facilities, personnel, and classified operations at Eglin.
- Support execution of local security requirements across physical security, visitor control, personnel security coordination, document control, and access management functions.
- Coordinate with Government site leadership and enterprise security stakeholders to ensure consistent implementation of security policies, procedures, and mission priorities.
- Monitor site-level actions, issues, inspections, and support requirements and provide status updates and recommendations, as needed.
- Assist with facility-related security procedures, access control measures, incident response coordination, and classified material safeguarding.
- Support inspections, self-assessments, compliance actions, and corrective action tracking affecting local security operations.
- Maintain effective working relationships with Government, contractor, and external stakeholders supporting site mission requirements.
- Support continuity of operations and effective delivery of security services across the Eglin mission environment.
Qualifications
- Master’s degree from an accredited college or university in a relevant discipline and 10 years of directly relevant experience; or a bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline plus 14 years of directly related work experience.
- Experience must include support to Special Access Program and Sensitive Compartmented Information environments
- Demonstrated ability to coordinate effectively across Government, contractor, and external stakeholders; prepare briefings, reports, standard operating procedures, and official correspondence; and lead a team in fast paced classified environments.
- Active Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility; must be able to meet any applicable Special Access Program eligibility requirements identified by the Government.
Pay Transparency Statement
AMERICAN SYSTEMS is committed to pay transparency for our applicants and employee-owners. The salary range for this position is USD $115,800.00/Yr. - USD $193,300.00/Yr. Actual compensation will be determined based on several factors permitted by law.
