Our Hospitality/Concierge Service Officers support Harvard Protection in our goal of providing best in class security and life safety services. Our Hospitality and Concierge Officers are responsible for providing professional customer-focused security and life safety services for the people and the property they protect.

What you’ll do as an Exceptional Team Member

  • Support the Site Manager by assisting with the recovery of loss and damages and coordinating emergency remediation as needed. •
  • Directly assist concierge personnel by covering meal breaks, line-up meetings, and desk attendance at both high-rise and low-rise locations.
  • • Conduct and maintain records for regular interior and exterior tours and patrols of the community.
  • • Notify the Site Manager, engineering team, and master association loss prevention immediately of all site emergencies. Access Control & Contractor Management
  • • Manage community access control at service entrances, ensuring only authorized persons enter the property.
  • • Oversee the screening and identification collection of all delivery personnel, service providers, and contractors.
  • • Verify compliant Certificate of Insurance (COI) records for all visitors prior to allowing access, and support the acquisition of COI documents to expedite entry when necessary.
  • • Govern and restrict all key access to authorized parties using community management software. Monitoring & Incident Management
  • • Provide constant monitoring of closed-circuit television (CCTV) cameras and report any system deficiencies or outages for timely repair.
  • • Monitor the daily operation of vertical transportation systems (elevators) and access restriction systems, placing service calls as required.
  • • Investigate reports of community rule infractions, incidents, and emergencies, including water leaks, fire alarms, and medical emergencies.
  • • Produce and maintain a searchable database of detailed incident reports following every request for assistance. Logistics & Communication
  • • Receive and process all daily packages from vendors including FedEx, UPS, USPS, and Amazon.
  • • Maintain accurate shift notes, pass-on logs, and BOLO (Be On the Look Out) boards to ensure seamless communication during shift changes.
  • • Ensure all site records, camera footage, and software information remain privileged and confidential. Any other task or duty as assigned or required by the client.

What you’ll need to be an Extraordinary Team Member

  • Knowledge and Skill Requirements Minimum High School Diploma, GED or the equivalent Strong interpersonal communication skills
  • Friendly and professional demeanor with a strong work ethic and integrity
  • Must enjoy interacting with a diverse group of people
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Computer skills and be able to demonstrate the ability to effectively operate and manage security and communication devices.
  • Write routine correspondence, to include log entries and incident reporting
  • Previous experience in a customer service-oriented industry or support environment required.
