Ready to suit up as a Tactical Security Guard

What matters most in a role like this is your ability to read the environment, anticipate risk and act accordingly. Your keen sense of observation and strong social skills are your greatest strengths.

As a Tactical Security Guard, physical ability is essential as you will be moving around your entire shift, patrolling environments such as retail stores, airports, security facility centers, etc.

Schedule- Sunday – Wednesday 22:00-07:00

Location- L7T 4K1

Responsibilities for Tactical Security Guard

• Screen visitors, staff, and contractors, verifying identification and managing access passes.
• Secure restricted areas and manage keys to control access.
• Patrol buildings, grounds, and parking lots to detect suspicious activity or hazards.
• Operate and monitor CCTV, alarms, and fire safety systems.
• Respond promptly to emergencies, including security breaches, fire alarms, and medical incidents.
• Assist with evacuations, fire drills, and ensure compliance with safety procedures.
• Prepare reports on daily activities, incidents, or investigations.
• Collaborate with law enforcement during serious incidents.

Qualifications for Tactical Security Guard

• Be authorized to work in Canada
• Hold a valid security license
• First aid certification required
• Ability to stand and walk throughout shift
