Job Description

Purpose Statement: The Security Officer role will protect site employees and property by using Plexus provided security systems and by developing a "One Plexus" relationship with all employees. SG II will be able to use the Plexus Security systems to their full potential to prevent and find site security issues. SG II will also have professional relationships within the site that enhance all security initiatives.

Key Job Accountabilities:

• Provide safety at the site by monitoring Access control, CCTV, Visitor Management and documenting any suspicious activity. SG II will possess a depth of understanding of the listed systems that shows ownership to the site.
• Protect site assets by monitoring CCTV, Access control and touring site assigned areas. SG II will use CCTV, Access Control and their tours to identify site security/safety issues and bring forward solutions to the identified issues.
• Provide excellent first contact customer service to all visitors, vendors and employees by utilizing "How can I help" relationship building approach. SG II will have numerous professional contacts at the site. This ownership, should be obvious based on their day to day interactions.
• Provide initial point of contact for emergencies by serving as First Aider and assisting with emergency paperwork, coordination , communication and follow through. SG II should be a lead First Aider on most calls and should now be able to guide a crisis event from start to finish.

Education/Experience Qualifications:

• Typically requires a High School Certificate, or related experience.
