As a Security Guard Commercial Screening in West Palm Beach, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As a Screener at a fast-paced logistics and distribution location, you will help support security-related screening activities, monitor access points, and assist with identifying concerns before they escalate. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or drivers by carrying out screening procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Screen people, packages, bags, and/or vehicles entering or leaving the location in accordance with post instructions and screening protocols.
• Respond to incidents, suspicious activity, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report security-related concerns to the appropriate personnel.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials, and document screening results, visitor activity, and/or unusual events in required logs and reports.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized access and support security-related operations.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• A Guard Card or license is required.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
