As a Security Guard Access Operations in Council Bluffs, IA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Access Control Officer at a food and beverage location, where you will help manage entry points, verify credentials, monitor access activity, and support a welcoming environment for employees and visitors. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, employees, visitors, and delivery personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at a food and beverage production location.
• Monitor access points, verify visitor, contractor, and vendor credentials, issue and collect access badges, and maintain accurate access-related records in accordance with site procedures.
• Control entry and exit of personnel, vehicles, and deliveries, helping to deter unauthorized access to production, warehouse, and restricted areas.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and notifying appropriate site contacts and/or emergency responders.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, parking areas, building exteriors, and perimeter areas; working environments and conditions may vary by client site.

Minimum Requirements:

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
