Located in the heart of Central California, Madera Community Hospital is a General Acute Care, private, not-for-profit hospital dedicated to improving and maintaining the health and wellness of residents throughout the Central Valley. Security Guards for Madera Community Hospital will be responsible for the safety and wellbeing of Madera Community Hospital staff, volunteers, patients, and guests by being prepared for emergency situations and responding to all incidents and emergency situations properly. Security Guards will maintain all required certifications. Security Guards will maintain a professional attitude towards all individuals including patients, guests and staff at all times. Will be responsible to detect and report the existence of safety hazards. Security guard must be able to comply with, and enforce hospital and departmental policies.

Will work varied shifts including nights and weekends.

Qualifications:

Requires current California Bureau of Security and Investigative Services Security Guard Card.

Prefer Crisis Prevention Training, or training in de-escalation techniques. Prefer IAHSS Certificate or equivalent.
