Job Description

KEY AREAS OF ACCOUNTABILITY

a. Patrol continuously the perimeters of the compounds and maintain a security watch throughout the assigned shift. Conduct regular rounds, in keeping with security directives.

b. Note and report problems, including suspicious activities and behaviours and maintenance concerns. Respond to emergencies and other problems, in keeping with SC guidelines, policies, and procedures.

c. Control the entrances to compounds, ensuring only authorized SC staff and their guests gain access.

d. Maintain regular contact with line supervisor via radio or telephone, as assigned, in keeping with SC policies and procedures.

e. Ensure understanding of roles, responsibilities, lateral relationships and accountabilities.

f. Maintain security logs, in keeping with SC policies and procedures. Document all comings and goings of staff and guests.

g. Document any and all equipment or assets entering or leaving the compound.

h. Document any and all repairs or maintenance, including all persons involved.

i. Perform other duties, as needed or requested.

QUALIFICATIONS

High school diploma (Graduated from High school)

EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS

Two years of experience in a relevant field with National or International NGOs
