ABOUT THE ROLE:

We are currently looking for FT Security Guard to work: Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday. The Security Officer is responsible for assisting in the day-to-day operation of the Security department to ensure the safety of the Community, its residents, staff, and visitors.

PRINCIPLE DUTIES:

• During emergencies or natural disasters, employee may be required to report for duty as assigned by the Director of Resident Services for the duration of the disaster.
• Maintains acceptable standards of personal hygiene and complies with department dress code.
• Assists management with marketing and other community events to provide traffic direction, guest check-in, parking, and security as needed.
• Keeps management informed of safety or security issues as necessary in a timely manner.
• Performs scheduled rounds both inside and outside of the buildings to maintain a secure environment.
• Monitors and maintains scheduled security checks, walking inspections and ratio requests.
• Responds to the emergency response system following standard operating procedure. Maintain unlock door logs.
• Responsible for maintaining timely and accurate reports and logs and delivering pass on reports to next shift.
• Responsible for immediate notification of all emergencies to appropriate personnel

Job Type Full-Time

Salary $18.00 per hour

Shift: Sunday, Monday, Tuesday and Saturday 6:45 a.m. - 2:45 p.m.

Experience:

• Unarmed Security: 1 year (Required)

Must have a current/valid driver's license
