NetCentric Technology LLC, a subsidiary of ASRC Federal, is seeking a full time Armed Security Guard in Fairbanks, AK.
The Fairbanks Command and Data Acquisition Station (FCDAS) is a 24-7 satellite tracking station operated by the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) in support of national and international operational and research environmental monitoring spacecraft. FCDAS occupies an 8,500-acre valley just outside of Fairbanks, Alaska and has in place all of the needed infrastructure required to be a self-sustaining campus. The Security crew is responsible for maintaining the ground security for this 8,500-acre site.
Responsibilities:
• Secure premises and personnel by patrolling property, monitoring surveillance equipment, inspection of buildings and access points. Permits access to site for employees, visitors and other authorized personnel.
• Written reports daily of irregularities, observations, and violation of policy and procedures.
• Controls traffic by directing drivers, contractors and visitors.
• Maintain organization's reputation by complying with all legal requirements set by the Federal Government and/or State of Alaska.
Experience in one of the following requirements:
• Two (2) years of service in the United States Armed Services (including Reserves or National Guard);
• Any combination of two (2) years of experience in physical security (as a security officer, armed or unarmed) and service with the United States Armed Services (including Reserves or National Guard);
• Associate Degree or higher in a security-related or law enforcement related field;
• Successful completion of a police officer’s basic training academy;
• Three (3) years of experience in physical security as a security officer, armed or unarmed.

Additional Requirements:
• Possess a Current Drivers' License.
• Have current certification in CPR/First aid or ability to acquire within first 6 months of employment.
• Complete at least 40hr On the Job Training prior to being assigned a shift/job.
• Available to work days, nights, weekends, holidays and up to 10hr shift lengths.
