About the Role:

This role plays a critical part in ensuring the safety, protection, and operational continuity of our Pine Bluff site. As a Security Guard, you will serve as the first line of defense in safeguarding our people, assets, and facilities. The position exists to maintain a secure environment through proactive monitoring, quick decision-making, and consistent communication with the management team. This role interacts closely with operations, maintenance, HR, and external partners, helping support Suzano’s commitment to a safe, reliable, and welcoming workplace.

Pay:

Starting out at $17.99 hour.

Responsibilities

What You’re Going to Do:

• Prepare clear, accurate, and timely written incident reports.
• Provide consistent and reliable information to the facility management team regarding incident follow-ups, case documentation, and other reporting systems.
• Perform routine security patrols throughout the facility grounds and maintain detailed documentation of all activities.
• Update daily safety and security logs to support operational visibility.
• Operate a company vehicle to conduct safety rounds and respond to site needs promptly.
• Monitor for unsafe conditions, unusual activity, or potential risks, escalating issues when necessary.
• Serve as a visible safety presence, promoting a secure environment for employees and visitors.

Qualifications

What We Expect from You:

Minimum Qualifications:

• Must submit an updated resume.
• At least three (3) years of relevant security, safety, or facility monitoring experience.
• High school diploma or General Education Diploma (GED).
• EMT Certification preferred, but not required.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Strong attendance and reliability history.
• Ability to stand, walk, and patrol for extended periods, in various weather conditions.
• Ability to write clear, detailed reports and communicate effectively with leadership.
