The Security Guard is responsible for maintaining a safe, secure, and professional office environment for employees, visitors, and company assets. The role focuses on access control, monitoring daily operations within the office premises, and ensuring compliance with security and safety procedures.
● Monitor and patrol assigned areas to prevent and detect security breaches or suspicious activities.
● Control access to premises by verifying identification and maintaining visitor logs.
● Ensure all security systems (CCTV, alarms, access control) are functioning properly and report any issues.
● Respond promptly to alarms, incidents, and emergency situations.
● Conduct routine inspections of buildings, facilities, and equipment.
● Report all incidents, violations, and safety concerns to the Senior Manager of Facilities.
● Assist in emergency procedures including evacuations, fire drills, and incident handling.
● Enforce company security policies and procedures at all times.
● Coordinate with internal departments and external authorities when required.
● Maintain accurate daily security logs and reports.
Requirements
Qualifications
● High school diploma or equivalent.
● Security or safety-related certification is preferred.
Experience
● 1–3 years of experience in security, preferably in office buildings or corporate environments.
Skills
● Strong observation and attention to detail.
● Good communication and interpersonal skills.
● Ability to remain calm and act quickly in emergencies.
● Basic computer skills for logging and reporting.
