Duties & Responsibilities:

Program and Policy Administration:

  • The Security Forces Readiness Analyst will provide on-site analytical support for Duties on War (DoW) and Department of the Air Force (DAF) programs and systems.
  • Maintain access to required readiness and personnel systems, including Military Personnel Data System (MilPDS), Envision, Automated Readiness Information System (ARIS), Inspector General Evaluation Management System (IGEMS), Theater Integrated Combat Munitions System (TICMS), Training Business Area (TBA), and Global Ammunition Control Point (GACP).
  • Track program effectiveness and recommend improvements aligned with compliance goals.
  • Prepare monthly updates and analysis for the Contracting Officer's Representative (COR).
  • Maintain the Security Forces Readiness Continuity Book with accurate processes, timelines, and points of contact (POCs).

Equipment and Logistics Oversight:

  • The Security Forces Readiness Analyst will support Air National Guard (ANG) training operations and related funding actions.
  • Ensure ANG Security Forces (SF) compliance and accountability within ARIS through validated inspections, maintenance, qualifications, and weapon usage.
  • Monitor field unit progress through on-site visits and automated record reviews.
  • Track and report equipment readiness status in monthly submissions.
  • Validate unit reporting to maintain accurate training and equipment readiness data.

Data Analysis and Compliance Monitoring:

  • The Security Forces Readiness Analyst will process, validate, and reconcile readiness datasets for high‑quality analytical outputs.
  • Identify gaps and trends while developing analytical products and recommendations.
  • Maintain and update data visualization tools such as Tableau and readiness analysis reports.
  • Collect and integrate readiness data from field units across manpower, training, and resources.
  • Perform data entry, queries, and quality assurance across readiness systems and reports.

Stakeholder Coordination and Training:

  • The Security Forces Readiness Analyst will coordinate readiness data and requirements with the Security Forces Functional Area Manager (SF FAM) and the Training and Combat Arms Training Management Program Manager (T‑CATM PM).
  • Assist in monitoring training trends, capability gaps, and safety incidents.
  • Participate in workshops, conferences, forums, and meetings as directed.
  • Provide After‑Action Reports (AARs) for all events attended.
  • Support enterprise‑wide communication and collaboration on readiness issues.
  • Other duties as assigned

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs):

  • Deep knowledge of Air National Guard (ANG) Security Forces readiness programs, regulations, and reporting requirements.
  • Skill in analyzing readiness, training, manpower, and equipment data to identify compliance gaps, trends, and improvement opportunities.
  • Ability to use and navigate Air Force readiness systems such as ARIS, IGEMS, MilPDS, TICMS, TBA, and Tableau for reporting and analysis.
  • Strong communication and coordination ability to work with the Security Forces Functional Area Manager (FAM), Training/CATM Program Manager, field units, and senior leadership.
  • Ability to develop, maintain, and present professional reports, continuity materials, and after-action summaries in support of enterprise readiness.

Minimum/General Experience:

  • Minimum of 3–5 years of experience in Security Forces, readiness management, data analysis, or related Air Force or Air National Guard program support.

Minimum Education:

  • High school diploma or GED required. Bachelor's degree in relevant field preferred.
