The Exec./Sr.Exec./AM/Manager -HubSecurityis responsible for ensuring the security of all shipments, employees, and infrastructure atthe Hub. The role involves implementing security protocols, conducting audits, and managing security personnel and systems. It is critical to maintaining compliance, preventing risks, and ensuring smooth operational continuity.

Toensure thephysicalsecurityofallshipments,personnel,andinfrastructureatthe Hubbyimplementing robustsecurity measures and protocols. The role focuses on risk prevention, incident management, and maintaining compliance with safetyandoperationalstandards.

ShipmentSecurity

· EnsurethephysicalsecurityandsafehandlingofallshipmentswithintheHub.

· Managehigh-valueshipmentsthroughsecurehandovers,escorts,pre-alerts,andreal-timemonitoring.

· Investigateopen,tampered,ordamagedshipmentsandcoordinatewiththeoriginforresolution.

· Updateandclose allsecuritycasesintheSHIELDsystemwithindefined timelines.

FacilitySecurityandSafety

· MaintaintheoverallphysicalsecurityoftheHubpremises,includingbuildingaccessandsurveillance.

· Conductregularelectrical,firesafety,andinfrastructureauditstoensureasafeworkingenvironment.

· Ensure optimalfunctioningofallelectronicsecuritysystemssuchasCCTV,accesscontrol,andfire alarms.

SecurityAuditsandCompliance

· Conductperiodicinternalsecurityaudits andensurefullcompliancewithorganizationalsafetystandards.

· Performvehicleandbrandingauditsforall Hubvehicles,ensuringadherencetolockingsystems,documentation, and pollution control norms.

PeopleandProcessManagement

· Support pre-employment and police verifications for all new employees in coordination with regional security teams.

· Leadsecurity orientation,emergency preparednesstraining,andfire-safety drillsforHubemployees.

· Drivecommunicationandawarenessofsafetypoliciesandproceduresamongallstaff.

SecurityPersonnelOversight

· Ensureadequatestaffingoftrainedsecurityguards;managedeploymentandsuperviseday-to-dayduties.

· Conductregulartraining,refreshercourses,andsurprisecheckstomaintaindisciplineandeffectiveness.

RiskManagementand Liaison

· Identify,assess,andreportpotentialsecurityrisks;collaboratewithOperationsfortimelymitigation.

· Coordinatewithlocallawenforcementagenciestosupportseamlessmovementofnetworkvehiclesandensure regulatorycompliance.

Education:

· Essential:Graduateinanydiscipline.

· Preferred:PreferablycertifiedinSecurityManagement,Fire&Safety,orRiskAssessment.

Experience:

· 1–3yearsofrelevantexperienceinsecurityoperations,preferablyinlogistics,transportation,warehousing,or supply chain sectors.

· Ex-servicemenfromtheIndianNavyorIndianAirForcewithexperienceinsecurity,administration,orlogistics roles are highly preferred.

· Experienceinhandlingshipmentsecurity,facilitysafety,emergencypreparedness,andmanagingsecurity personnel.

· Hands-onexperiencewithsecuritysystemssuch asCCTV,AccessControl,andFireSafetyDevices.

· Priorexposuretoincidentinvestigation,safetyaudits,andcoordinationwithlocallawenforcementauthoritiesis desirable.
