Job Description

At traide AI, we’re building the AI powered trade compliance tool of the future, that helps our customers navigate the complicated regulations of trade of goods. As we grow, security and trust are at the core of everything we do. We’re looking for a Security Engineer who wants to get their hands dirty, work side-by-side with the CTO, and help us build a security culture from the ground up. This is a unique opportunity to learn and deepen your expertise across multiple areas — from cloud security to compliance to customer-facing conversations — while having a direct impact on how we scale securely.

Tasks

Endpoint & Office IT

• Own Mac device management (MDM, encryption, patching, endpoint protection).
• Manage secure onboarding and offboarding processes.

Cloud Security

• Define and enforce access management and security controls in the cloud.
• Collaborate with engineers to ensure secure infrastructure and monitoring.

Compliance & ISO 27001

• Develop and maintain security policies and procedures.
• Collect evidence and support internal audits for ISO 27001.
• Drive company-wide security awareness initiatives.

Customer-Facing Security

• Review and maintain accurate responses for customer security questionnaires.
• Represent the company’s security posture in customer conversations.

Requirements

• Experience with device management tools (e.g., Jamf, Kandji, Intune).
• Solid understanding of cloud security principles (we use GCP but specific experience is not required).
• Familiarity with security frameworks (ISO 27001, SOC 2, or similar).
• Strong written and verbal communication skills for policies and customer interactions.
• Hands-on and pragmatic approach; comfortable balancing strategy and execution.
