Join our company as Security Engineer (all genders) and become part of an agile team designing, building, and improving security features across the TeamViewer product line and its supporting infrastructure.
These will be some of your responsibilities:
Design and implement security controls and mechanisms directly in our products, with a strong focus on secure-by-design principles.
Identify, analyze, and mitigate vulnerabilities through threat modeling, security reviews, and hands-on testing (including aspects of offensive security).
Collaborate closely with development teams to integrate security into the SDLC, from design to deployment, and improve existing security architectures.
Drive the implementation of technical solutions to detect and prevent abuse scenarios in TeamViewer products.
Contribute to security-related automation, tooling, and processes to scale security across engineering teams.
Act as a security consultant for product and engineering teams, helping them make risk-informed design and implementation decisions aligned with the overall security strategy.
Participate in applied AI security initiatives, focusing on securing AI-driven features and leveraging AI to improve security capabilities.
Prepare and deliver secure coding trainings, workshops, and guidance to development teams.
Degree in computer science or security or equivalent working experience
Ideally 3+ years professional experience in a similar position, specifically focused on security issues
Strong interest and understanding of security aspects of AI usage in Software Development process
Knowledge of C++ and at least a basic understanding of other programming languages such as Java, C# or Go
Good foundation in web architectures as well as scalable distributed systems
Experience in implementing encryption, cryptography, software security and authentication, both in the field of software development and the design of network protocols.
Passion about finding secure, innovative and user-friendly solutions for highly complex problems
Experience in mentoring, consulting and guiding other developers and teams of developers in building secure solutions
Experience and interest in working in distributed teams
Fluency in English is mandatory, further languages such as German are a plus
