Endpoint Security Engineers manage, secure, and optimise end-user devices including laptops, desktops, and mobile devices throughout their lifecycle to protect against cyber threats. The role involves configuring and managing EDR and MDM/MAM solutions such as Microsoft Intune, enforcing compliance policies, and automating security patching to maintain a secure and modern workplace.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deploy, manage, and harden Windows devices using Microsoft Intune
  • Support the rollout and adoption of Windows Hello for Business, including troubleshooting and operational support
  • Manage iOS and Android devices through Intune, including configuration profiles, compliance policies, and device restrictions
  • Enable secure access to corporate data on mobile platforms through endpoint controls
  • Implement and manage Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR) tools, Data Loss Prevention (DLP), and VPN solutions
  • Configure security baselines, encryption (BitLocker), and access controls including Zero Trust principles
  • Manage update rings and compliance policies to ensure systems are fully patched and protected against vulnerabilities
  • Automate security and deployment tasks using scripting languages such as PowerShell or Python

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience in End User Computing or Endpoint Configuration Engineering
  • Hands-on experience with Microsoft 365, Azure AD / Entra ID, Intune, and Windows Hello for Business
  • Strong understanding of Windows 11 security, operating system hardening, networking concepts such as 802.1X and Wi-Fi security, and vulnerability management
  • Experience supporting enterprise endpoint security environments

  • Microsoft SC-400 (Information Protection) Certification
  • Microsoft MD-102 (Endpoint Administrator) Certification
