Minimum qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, cybersecurity, information technology or a related field and 2 years of experience in the job offered or in a Security Engineer-related occupation.
• Position requires 2 years of experience in the following:
  
  • Performing security design reviews or conducting security assessments
  • Threat modeling for system security
  • Coding in general-purpose programming languages
  • Performing security-focused code reviews
  • Software Development including dependency management and CI/CD pipelines

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $147,000 - $211,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities

• Analyze security systems to identify vulnerabilities and respond to active threats in the environment
• Design, implement, and maintain robust security controls, tools, and services to mitigate risks
• Operate information security systems and execute established procedures to ensure ongoing protection
• Develop new features and bug fixes for existing security tools and products to enhance functionality
• Lead short-term, complex operational tasks independently, escalating critical issues when necessary. Improve security outcomes by proactively identifying and implementing enhancements to tools and processes
