About the Role:
We are looking for a Security Engineer / Senior Security Engineer to join our Security Operations Center (SOC). This role involves securing both cloud and on-premises environments, managing endpoint and email security, and supporting threat detection, incident response, and compliance initiatives. You will work with a range of Microsoft security tools and collaborate with internal teams and external clients.
Key Responsibilities:
• Implement and manage security controls across Azure, AWS, and hybrid environments.
• Monitor and respond to security alerts using Azure Sentinel and Microsoft Defender.
• Manage endpoint security using Microsoft Defender for Endpoint and email security using Microsoft Defender for Office 365.
• Develop automation playbooks to streamline incident response.
• Conduct vulnerability scans and assist in remediation efforts.
• Apply IAM, RBAC, and Zero Trust principles.
• Support compliance initiatives (SOC2, ISO 27001).
• Collaborate with DevOps teams to integrate security into CI/CD pipelines.
• Automate tasks using PowerShell, Python, or Terraform.
Qualifications:
• 2+ years of experience in security operations (cloud and endpoint).
• Hands-on experience with Azure Sentinel, Microsoft Defender suite, and Intune.
• Familiarity with SOC2, ISO 27001, and vulnerability management tools.
• Scripting skills in PowerShell, Python, or Terraform.
• Knowledge of IAM, RBAC, and network security.
Nice to Have:
• Experience with KQL for Azure Sentinel queries.
• Familiarity with Logic Apps for security automation.
• Certifications such as AZ-500, CEH, or AWS Security Specialty.
Work Schedule: Roster-based, 24 hours × 7 days
