About the Role

MSS Security is looking for Full time - Security Emergency Officers to join our team in Blackwater. This position is for local candidates residing in Blackwater or DIDO candidates..

As part of the Emergency Response Team, you will respond to security and emergency incidents, maintain a safe and secure environment, and support the effective resolution of onsite emergencies.

Duties include but are not limited to:

• Conduct foot patrols, welfare checks, and security escorts when required.
• Respond to security incidents, medical emergencies, fire alarms, first Aid response and other emergency situations.
• Monitor site activities, enforce rules and report incidents and safety concerns.
• Inspect and maintain emergency response equipment and vehicles.
• Communicate professionally with residents, contractors, and site personnel while delivering excellent customer service.

Skills & Experience

• Full Australian Working Rights
• Certificate II in Security Operations
• Class 1 QLD Security License (Unarmed)
• Class C manual driver’s licence for QLD
• HLTAID011- Provide First Aid (Or willing to obtain)
• HLTAID010- Provide Basic Emergency Life Support (Or willing to obtain)
• HLTAID009- Provide Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (Or willing to obtain)
• OH&S Construction Induction White Card (Or willing to obtain)
• Ability to successfully pass a National Police and Criminal history check
• Ability to successfully pass a Full medical and fitness assessment, including a Drug & Alcohol screening
• Must currently live within a 600 km radius of Blackwater.
