The Casino Security Corporal plays a leadership role within the Security Department, responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for guests, employees, and property. This position provides direct oversight to Security Officers during assigned shifts, ensures compliance with policies and procedures, and responds effectively to incidents while delivering excellent guest service.

Qualifications

Under direct supervision of the Security Sergeant responsible for the protection, safeguarding and security of the Casino’s assets, personnel, customers and all visitors during their assigned shift.



HS Diploma or GED required. Must have one-year security or surveillance experience. Must have and maintain valid driver’s license. Must be 21 years of age. Must be able to work a variety of shifts. Must have good driving record. Guard card a plus. Must be able to successfully pass a pre-employment drug/alcohol screen, random drug and controlled substance abuse tests, background investigation, obtain and maintain gaming license in California and Arizona. Native American preference and/or experience with Native American culture and government preferred. Tribal preference given to qualified enrolled tribal members.

Located at 350 Picacho Road in Winterhaven, California, the administration building sits atop Indian Hill overlooking Paradise Casino to the East and the construction of the new Fort Yuma Health Care Center to the North.

Here you will find the offices of the President, Vice-President, and the Tribal Council Members. The Tribal Chambers is also located within the building where meetings with the Tribal Council are held.

Also located within the administration building are the offices for the Tribal Administrator, Tribal Council Secretary, Comptroller, Human Resources, Payroll, Revenue Distribution, Finance, our Grants Writer/Coordinator and Records Retention.

The hours of operation are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. and 1:00 pm. to 5:00 p.m. The offices are closed between 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m. for lunch break.
