About MAG:
MAG (Mines Advisory Group) is an international humanitarian organisation based in Manchester, UK, and working in 32 countries. We remove landmines and unexploded ordnance to release safe and productive land for communities, and work to reduce the threat of armed violence by supporting governments to safely manage weapons and ammunition. In 1997, MAG was a co-recipient of the Nobel Peace Prize for our work campaigning for the Anti-Personnel Mine Ban Convention.
About the role:
Reporting to our Global Security and Systems Manager, you will provide analytical, administrative, and information management support to our Global Security Team. You will enable informed decision-making through the systematic collection, collation, analysis, and dissemination of security information across MAG’s global operations. You will maintain and support core security systems and reporting processes, track risk trends, and ensure the timely and accurate flow of information to country offices and senior leadership. This is a dynamic and varied role which would suit someone looking to work part time.

Requirements
About you:
You will be organised and self-motivated, with experience in information analysis, research, coordination, or another similar role. You should have high attention to detail, with the capacity to appropriately handle sensitive or confidential information. Ability to work under pressure is essential, and you should be fully committed to MAG’s mission, vision, values, and approach. You will be a strong communicator across a range of mediums, including experience supporting on reporting, compliance, or monitoring processes. Proficiency in Microsoft office is essential, and additional familiarity with security risk management frameworks, PowerBI, and ArcGIS would be of interest. Fluency in English is essential, and proficiency in another language would be advantageous.
