Are you looking to join a dynamic team at one of Melbourne’s most iconic cultural and historical landmarks? MSS Security is seeking reliable and motivated Security Control Room Operators to support the safety and security at Museums Victoria.


We have roles available on a permanent night shift basis, as well as on a 24/7 rotating roster.

About the Role:

  • Control Room duties including CCTV monitoring, incident investigations, report writing, responding to phone calls and emails, programming access cards, and electronically locking/unlocking doors and lifts
  • Patrol responsibilities including physical lock and unlock procedures, internal and external infrastructure checks, and responding to first aid incidents
  • Customer service duties involving front-of-house support, meet and greet interactions, and assisting visitors and staff as required

Skills & Requirements:

  • Full Australian Working Rights
  • Current Victorian Security Licence with a control room endorsement
  • Certificate II (or higher) in Security Operations
  • Current Valid First Aid Certificate
  • Current Drivers Licence
  • Employee Working With Children's Check (or willing to obtain)
