The Opportunity
This posting is for a new position.
We are looking for a Concierge to join our team, who is proactive, attentive, and passionate about enhancing the resident experience. This role is ideal for someone who takes initiative and is committed to creating positive interactions every day.
The concierge enhances the resident experience by delivering exceptional service and outstanding customer care, proactively anticipating the needs of residents and guests, and providing personalized support to address challenges and foster a positive environment.
The concierge is an ambassador representing the community and is the primary point of contact for residents and guests.
Compensation:
• $50,000 - $52,000 annually.
Responsibilities will include, at a minimum:
• Greet all residents and guests with warmth and professionalism, creating a welcoming atmosphere at all times.
• Respond promptly to resident inquiries, feedback, and concerns with professionalism and courtesy.
• Provide accurate information and helpful resources based on a sound knowledge of the community’s services, amenities, and policies.
• Update communication logs and records on the resident portal to ensure timely and transparent documentation.
• Handle all resident communications via phone or email in a timely, courteous, and professional manner.
• Manage parcel intake, organization, and distribution with care and accuracy.
• Oversee visitor registration and manage vendor and staff access using fobs and keys.
• Monitor vendor check-ins and check-outs to ensure proper site access control.
• Alert internal teams to any observed security concerns, such as unauthorized access or loitering.
• Conduct regular walkthroughs of amenity spaces and common areas to monitor cleanliness, safety, and maintenance needs.
• Liaise with internal teams and external vendors to coordinate services and maintain consistent communication.
• Monitor and assist with on-site and off-site community events, as well as resident amenity space bookings.
• Support resident move-ins and move-outs, including managing loading dock access and coordinating moving truck logistics.
• Maintain discretion and confidentiality in all interactions, protecting resident privacy and sensitive information.
• Perform general administrative tasks such as updating logs, maintaining records, and supporting the property management team.
• Monitor security cameras and access control systems in collaboration with property management or security teams to ensure resident safety.
• Assist with emergency procedures by contacting appropriate services and following protocols as directed (e.g., fire alarm response, safety incidents).
• Perform other duties as assigned to support the daily operations of the community.
Must haves:
• At least 1+ years of customer service or hospitality experience, preferably in a residential or hotel environment.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to respond to resident needs professionally and promptly.
• Bilingualism is a strong asset particularly in Spanish, Portuguese, Italian, French, Mandarin, Urdu, Arabic, or East Slavic languages, to support communication with our diverse resident and prospect community.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills, with the ability to multi-task, work under pressure, and follow through on tasks independently.
• Proficient with CRM systems and Microsoft Office, and comfortable using building management tools.
• Professional appearance and demeanor are required, including adherence to uniform standards (clean attire and visible name tags).
• Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting (up to 20 lbs), bending, and other light duties as part of daily responsibilities.
Additional Information
• Must be available to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends and holidays availability, as required.
• This role requires a mandatory full-time-in-office schedule (5 days/week).
• There are two shifts available, with a typical 40-hour work week. These shifts are subject to change and management discretion;
◦ Morning shift: 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
◦ Afternoon shift: 3:00 PM – 11:30 PM
