We hand hold our security customers against real-time cyber-attacks and cyber-terrorism on daily basis. Partnering with other technical teams we detect and mitigate ongoing attacks, helping enterprises protect their online presence. Respond to cyber attacks in real time

As Security Architect, you'll engage in critical network and attack-related events for Akamai's managed security customers. Help identify real time cyber-attacks, strategize & deploy mitigations while neutralizing adverse impact to the end users.

As a Security Architect , you will be responsible for:

• Devising and engaging mitigation strategies to prevent real time attacks, using Akamai products & platform
• Performing advanced analysis to identify attacks and threats to customer's digital properties and/or their business network
• Communicating with customers regarding challenges and providing updates and results on your mitigation and analysis
• Innovating around tooling development & product enhancement.
• Being a good advocate to customer centricity during day-to-day operations & incidents

Do what you love

To be successful in this role you will:

• Have 3 years relevant industry experience on primarily networking OR Akamai Platform OR Web application Security. Excellent in Customer facing Role.
• Have an in-depth understanding of networking fundamentals; Basic networking, TCP, IP, UDP.
• Demonstrate knowledge of how the internet works, including, DNS. HTTP, Suite of IP Protocols
• Understand OWASP Top 10 and their relation to internet service compromises and attacks.
• Need to demonstrate excellent verbal & written communication skills and excellent collaboration & team work.
• Have passion and ability to learn new tools and technologies and problem solving.
