As a L2 PAM Engineer for CyberArk Operations, your day involves in Providing day-to-day operational support for CyberArk PAM services, resolving incidents and service requests, monitoring platform health, executing standard onboarding and access changes, and scalating complex issues to L3 to maintain service stability, security, and SLA compliance.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Provide L2 support for PAM operations and service requests via ITSM channels in line with agreed SLAs and 24x7 support model.
- Monitor and manage CyberArk platform components including PAS core services, CPM, PVWA, PSM/PSMP, CCP, and WPM to maintain service health and availability.
- Perform standard privileged account onboarding tasks including safe provisioning, permission assignment, PSM enablement, and CCP integration using approved workflows.
- Create, modify, and maintain CyberArk safes, safe membership, and account management policies as per operating procedures.
- Support password rotations and resolve common CPM rotation failures and reconciliation issues using runbooks and standard remediation steps.
- Troubleshoot access/login issues, PVWA/PSM session connectivity, platform/UI issues, and automation failures escalate as required
- Perform routine health checks and log monitoring to identify rotation/session issues early and raise proactive incidents
- Execute routine maintenance activities including certificate checks, environment monitoring, and support for patching windows by following standard procedures.
- Follow end-to-end change management processes (CAB/approval, implementation, post-change validation, closure) for standard PAM changes.
- Contribute to operational documentation updates (SOPs/KBs) and handover notes based on recurring incidents and resolution learnings.
- Escalate complex incidents, integration issues, and product defects to L3 SMEs and OEM support with complete diagnostics and evidence.
Professional & Technical Skills:
- MustTo Have Skills: Proficiency in CyberArk Privileged Access Management.
- Good To Have Skills: Experience with Identity Access Management (IAM).
- year of experience in Privileged access management with minimum 2 years of experience on CyberArk
- Working knowledge of CyberArk PAS components including Vault, PVWA, CPM, PSM/PSMP, CCP, and WPM.
- Hands-on experience supporting privileged account onboarding, safe management, and password rotation operations.
- Basic scripting skills (PowerShell / REST API awareness) for operational automation support is preferred.
- Familiarity with ITSM incident, request, change, and problem workflows.
Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 2 years of experience in CyberArk Privileged Access Management.
- This position is based at our Bengaluru office.
- CyberArk Administration / Operations certification
