Job Description

  • Monitor fuel receipt, storage, handling, and consumption in line with approved procedures.
  • Supervise weighbridge operations, fuel unloading/loading, and fuel issuance to generation units.
  • Track daily fuel stock levels, fuel burn rates, and plant heat rate performance.
  • Ensure accurate fuel reconciliation between received, consumed, and closing stock.
  • Verify fuel quality parameters as per technical and contractual specifications.
  • Implement and enforce fuel security protocols to prevent theft, pilferage, adulteration, or unauthorized usage.
  • Supervise security personnel deployed at fuel yards, storage tanks, conveyors, pipelines, or fuel dumps.
  • Monitor CCTV systems, access control, and surveillance related to fuel handling areas.
  • Conduct routine inspections and surprise audits of fuel storage and transfer points.
  • Investigate and report fuel losses, discrepancies, or security incidents.

Graduate with computer knowledge and minimum 5 years' experience in the field of logistic security.
