New Jersey Resources is seeking a Security and Business Continuity Analyst to develop and maintain metrics and evaluate data to support departmental goals within the Security and Business Continuity department. This position supports data-driven security operations, business continuity planning, and cross-functional collaboration.
Major Responsibilities
• Develop, maintain, and analyze physical security metrics, dashboards, and data-driven reports.
• Assist with access control reporting, video surveillance system review, badge provisioning, and area access reviews.
• Monitor and escalate threat intelligence data to management to support organizational security awareness.
• Assist management with the planning, coordinating, and support of tabletop exercises, emergency drills, and scenario-based preparedness activities.
• Track ongoing security and business continuity projects to assist management with timely completion.
• Collaborate with internal departments, external agencies, and operations teams on physical security and business continuity initiatives.
• Assist with coordination of security and business continuity training programs.
• Support the development and maintenance of Business Impact Analysis across the organization.
• Support security compliance activities, policy development, and administrative items, as needed.
Position Requirements:
• Bachelors degree in Business, Data Science, Data Analytics or related field.
• 1-3 years relevant experience including security analytics, business continuity, risk management, intelligence analysis, operational reporting, or data analytics.
• Experience developing reports, dashboards, metrics, and trend analyses using Excel, Power BI, or similar reporting tools.
• Experience with security technologies, including access control, video management, incident management, or security monitoring systems, is preferred.
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills, with ability to identify and evaluate security trends, risks and issues, and support the implementation of security programs and initiatives across the organization.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to interface with all levels of the organization.
• Attention to details, responsiveness, and good judgment are important. • Knowledge of security computing technology and applications is desirable.
• Travel may for professional conferences or training opportunities as needed.
• Occasional after-hours availability may be required to support emergency management, business continuity, or other critical business events.

Other Details: Location type is Hybrid, 3 days onsite, 2 days remote.
Compensation: Expected base pay range for this role will be $72,000- $97,000. Base pay is based on several factors including, experience, skills, and knowledge. This role will be eligible to participate in an annual short term incentive program.
