The Securities Settlement Team Lead is an intermediate position responsible for supervising the daily workflow of Securities Settlement Services team in coordination with the Customer Service functions but with a main focus on settlement core activities. The overall objective is to ensure the best-in-class settlement services and focused on building and retaining valuable client relationships and drive commitment to the delivery of Citi’s Custody products and services as a team lead.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide end-to-end Settlement services for Citi's clients on the Hungarian market for Hungarian securities as part of Custody services
  • Act as an ambassador for clients in the Hungarian market, delivering top-tier Custody services
  • Participate in upcoming Industry level projects and contribute to internal development and implementation projects
  • Drive organizational change through innovation and process improvement, eliminating friction points within the team
  • Promote operational excellence to ensure high-quality service delivery and productivity
  • Deliver an exceptional client experience by understanding and addressing clients' needs, with performance measured through established service and quality metrics
  • Managing the team work of Securities Settlements


Qualifications:

  • 2–5 years of experience in Securities Settlement Operations; knowledge of the local market infrastructure is required
  • Bachelor's/University degree or equivalent experience
  • Advanced knowledge of SWIFT MT5XX messages and ISO 20022 messaging standards
  • Strong project management skills
  • People management skill is advantage but not required
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills in English and Hungarian
  • Influencing and relationship management skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
