Job Description

J.P. Morgan's Trading Services business delivers solutions that empower clients to optimise their liquidity and treasury needs through innovative securities finance and collateral solutions. We provide an interconnected suite of products designed to enhance portfolio efficiency and operational alpha.


As a Vice President within J.P. Morgan's Trading Services Sales team, you will be responsible for driving new business growth for the firm's Tri-Party Collateral platform across Asia-Pacific. The role will focus on originating new opportunities, deepening relationships with banks, broker-dealers and other market participants, and expanding adoption of J.P. Morgan's Tri-Party solutions across the region.


Working closely with Product, Solutions, Relationship Management, Legal and Onboarding teams, you will help clients optimise collateral, liquidity and financing activities while delivering commercial growth for the franchise.

Job Responsibilities
• Drive new business growth for J.P. Morgan's Tri-Party Collateral business across Asia-Pacific.
• Identify, originate and convert new opportunities with banks, broker-dealers, securities houses, custodians and other market participants.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective clients to increase Tri-Party balances, grow market share and expand wallet penetration.
• Build and execute account plans for strategic clients and prospects, maintaining a disciplined and active sales pipeline.
• Lead client discussions on collateral management, liquidity optimisation, financing and balance sheet efficiency solutions enabled through J.P. Morgan's Tri-Party platform.
• Partner closely with Product, Solutions, Relationship Management, Operations, Legal and Onboarding teams to deliver coordinated client solutions and support successful business implementation.
• Support commercial negotiations, pricing discussions, RFP responses and onboarding activities associated with new business opportunities.
• Identify opportunities to expand Tri-Party adoption across new markets, counterparties and collateral use cases throughout Asia-Pacific.
• Monitor market developments, regulatory changes and competitive activity impacting collateral and securities financing markets across the region.
• Represent J.P. Morgan at client events, industry conferences and market forums to promote the firm's Tri-Party capabilities and broader Trading Services franchise.
• Provide market intelligence and client feedback to support product development and strategic initiatives.
• Ensure all activities are conducted in accordance with applicable regulatory requirements, risk standards and internal policies.

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

• Degree qualified in Finance, Economics, Business or a related discipline.
• 5+ years of experience within securities finance, collateral management, repo, prime brokerage, custody, financing solutions or related financial services.
• Demonstrated success in a client-facing sales, relationship management or business development role.
• Knowledge of Tri-Party Collateral, collateral management processes and securities financing markets.
• Understanding of financial institutions, including banks, broker-dealers and securities houses within Asia-Pacific.
• Awareness of market structure and regulatory developments impacting collateral and financing activities across APAC.
• Experience managing client opportunities involving commercial, operational and legal considerations.
• Ability to work effectively across a matrix organisation and partner with multiple internal stakeholders to deliver client outcomes.
• Excellent communication, presentation and negotiation skills. Ability to build trusted relationships with senior client stakeholders across the region.
• Commercially focused with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Self-motivated with the ability to independently manage priorities and opportunities across multiple markets.
• Proficiency in CRM systems and sales management tools.
