Job Description

Are you passionate about driving transformation initiatives across the region? Then, this is your opportunity to join the Fund Services Operations team under Securities Services Operations, assuming a key role in the successful delivery and execution of the operations strategy in the region.

As a Fund Accounting Executive Director within the Fund Services Operations team, you will be directly reporting to the Asia Head of Fund Services Operations. Your responsibilities will include manage day-to-day Fund Accounting Operations teams and the services delivery, closely collaborating with the Global Operation Transformation to establish the target operating model, formulating execution strategies, and managing change initiatives to enhance operational scale and efficiency. You will also be in charge of strengthening controls for the operations and overseeing various Operations teams to ensure service delivery standards are met and successfully delivered according to service-level agreement commitments.

Additionally, you will consistently provide efficient, valuable, and market-leading services, while onboarding new clients and retaining existing ones. Your leadership role will involve promoting staff development and process improvement, ensuring efficient service-level agreement reporting and performance metrics, and identifying opportunities for further alignment within our expanding operations. You will also be responsible for promoting change through innovation and transformation, implementing the fund services operations’ strategy, and modernizing the client experience.

Job responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage transformation to the target operating model, from initiation to implementation, ensuring adherence to service delivery requirement, timelines, risk management, and quality standards.
  • Partner with Product, Technology, and Change teams to define requirements, prioritize enhancements, and deliver scalable operating model improvements.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to resolve business issues and ensure seamless end-to-end delivery.
  • Coordinate closely with onboarding and readiness teams to support new client mandates, fund launches, and lifecycle events, escalating issues proactively to protect timelines.
  • Facilitate smooth transitions during system upgrades, process changes, and organizational restructuring, ensuring minimal disruption to operations.
  • Optimize capacity through resource planning, training plans, and succession planning to maintain robust coverage.
  • Collaborate closely with Leadership Team and wider functions to enable consistent and effective operational processes whilst championing process improvement and change from concept to final delivery

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, or related disciplines
  • At least 15 years of experience in fund accounting, financial reporting, fund administration, and/or auditing related roles
  • Strong understanding of fund accounting operations including pre-Net Asset Value (NAV) and post-NAV functions
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate with diverse stakeholders
  • Demonstrated leadership capabilities and the ability to inspire and motivate teams to achieve their best
  • A team player who is flexible and can maintain both a positive attitude and high level of performance in demanding/time-sensitive initiatives
  • Possess intellectual curiosity, resourcefulness, excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, ability to synthesize large amounts of information and propose recommendation
  • Demonstrated ability to lead transformation and automation initiatives that reduce manual processing and improve scalability.
  • High integrity and sound judgment, with comfort challenging and being challenged constructively.

  • Able to manage difficult conversations and be comfortable with performance management when required
  • Experience working in a high growth team, start-up environment, adaptable, agile in approach and able to work in a constantly evolving business
  • Experience implementing governance frameworks and performance metrics aligned to global standards.
