Job Description

As an Analyst within our Buenos Aires SecOps Payment Utility team, you will be responsible for supporting the Securities Operation back office teams by processing payments generated from their daily activities. Your role will involve diligently monitoring the payment queue to ensure all requests are processed efficiently. You will bring a strong control mindset to ensure the timely and accurate execution of payments, along with a proactive approach to identifying efficiencies in response to the dynamic changes within the industry.

Responsibilities include:

  • Understand the end-to-end payment process.
  • Learn to utilize different tools and payment systems.
  • Process manual payments following standard procedures and adhere strictly to controls in place.

  • Critically evaluate, inquire, and challenge any details that do not make sense during the payment input and approval process.

  • Investigate and resolve issues related to outgoing wire transfers and document accordingly.
  • Support the business by answering payment queries, locating funds, and expediting issue resolutions.
  • Support compliance and regulatory reporting requirements as needed.
  • Adhere to operational procedures to complete tasks accurately and on time.

Qualifications include:

  • Demonstrate attention to detail, ability to focus, and an understanding of and adherence to controls;
  • Exhibit critical thinking skills and the ability to challenge existing processes or assumptions.
  • Fluent in English;
  • Knowledge of MS Office package (excel specifically)
