Job Description

The Sec & Derivatives Sr Analyst is an intermediate level position responsible for processing orders and transactions originating from trading desks and branch offices in coordination with the Operations - Transaction Services team. The overall objective of this role is to facilitate the clearance, settlement and investigation of client securities and derivatives transactions.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and Manage Team Operations:Oversee day-to-day workflow execution, including specialized processing tasks like settlement and trade reconciliation, while providing leadership, guidance, and training to junior staff.
• Ensure Timely & Accurate Delivery:Guarantee the efficient and precise completion of all team tasks, serving as the primary analytical and procedural expert.
• Manage and Resolve Complex Escalations:Serve as the first point of contact for critical issues, conducting in-depth evaluations and implementing advanced solutions for process problems.
• Drive Continuous Process Improvement:Identify inefficiencies, streamline procedures, and implement new techniques to optimize workflow efficiency, quality, and cost-effectiveness.
• Lead Strategic Projects:Initiate, plan, and execute strategic projects focused on enhancing operational capabilities and service delivery.
• Assess and Mitigate Risks:Proactively assess business risks, ensure compliance with applicable laws, rules, and internal policies, and transparently manage and report control issues to safeguard the firm's reputation and assets

Qualifications:

• 5-8 years of relevant experience
• Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication skills

Education:

• Bachelor’s Degree/University degree or equivalent experience

Primary Location Full Time Salary Range:

$70,080.00 - $105,120.00
