Job Description

Citi is looking for a Securities & Derivatives Analyst to join its Custody Operations team, where you will play a key role in the clearance, settlement, and investigation of client securities and derivatives transactions. Working within a high-volume, fast-paced environment, you will coordinate closely with trading desks and branch offices to ensure accurate and timely processing of complex financial transactions. This is an opportunity to build deep operational expertise within a global financial institution where your analytical judgement directly contributes to the integrity of client outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Process a high volume of securities transactions end-to-end, delivering accurate and timely clearance and settlement for client accounts.
• Analyse settlement issues and resolve them efficiently, escalating complex cases with clearly recommended solutions to minimise risk exposure.
• Apply data analysis tools and sound professional judgement to identify process inefficiencies and deliver measurable improvements to trade flow operations.
• Review derivative products and provide analytical input to traders to support informed and accurate decision-making.
• Identify gaps in existing policies and develop updated procedures that streamline trade flow and strengthen operational controls.
• Participate in the implementation of new products, platform upgrades, and operational projects from scoping through to delivery.
• Monitor transactions for errors and deliver timely solutions that protect the bank and its clients from operational and financial risk.
• Support the onboarding of new team members by providing on-the-job guidance and sharing operational knowledge.

Required Qualifications & Skills

• 2 to 5 years of direct experience in custody operations, with demonstrable ability to manage complex securities transactions independently.
• Hands-on knowledge of securities settlement processes, with the ability to identify and resolve issues without close supervision.
• Working knowledge of Treasury products, accounting principles, and relevant regulatory requirements.
• Ability to operate effectively under pressure in a high-volume environment, maintaining accuracy and meeting deadlines consistently.
• Clear and concise written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex operational matters to a range of stakeholders.
• Must pass the Proficiency Test for Trust Operations Personnel as a condition of employment in this role.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience in Business, Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

• 熟悉庫務產品、會計原則及相關監管要求。
• 能夠在高壓、高交易量的環境中保持穩定表現，確保工作準確性並如期完成任務。
• 具備清晰簡潔的書面及口頭溝通能力，能就複雜業務事宜向不同持份者有效表達。
• 須通過信託業務人員專業能力測試，此為本職位的就業條件之一。
• 持有工商管理、會計、金融或相關領域的學士學位或同等專業資歷。
