About the role
We are looking for a proactive and technically skilled SOC IT Specialist to support and maintain the IT infrastructure, applications, and connectivity used within our Security Operations Centers (SOC). In this role, you will ensure the stability, security, and availability of critical monitoring systems while supporting end-users and driving continuous improvement initiatives.
Responsibilities
Administer and maintain Windows server environments, networks, and virtualized infrastructure.
Support and troubleshoot SOC applications, including monitoring and communication platforms.
Monitor system performance, availability, and operational health.
Manage incidents and service requests through ServiceNow.
Support the integration of customer security systems, including alarm and video surveillance solutions.
Collaborate with international IT teams, vendors, and business stakeholders.
Participate in infrastructure, migration, and system development projects.
Create and maintain technical documentation, procedures, and inventory records.
Promote IT security best practices and support compliance requirements.
Requirements
Several years of experience in IT infrastructure, system administration, or a similar technical role.
Strong knowledge of Windows Server environments and virtualization technologies.
Solid understanding of networking concepts, including TCP/IP, routing, switching, and VPN technologies.
Experience troubleshooting complex technical issues and providing end-user support.
Familiarity with IT service management tools such as ServiceNow.
Knowledge of cybersecurity principles and operational best practices.
Experience with PowerShell, Python, or other automation tools will be an advantage.
Strong communication skills and a customer-focused mindset.
Ability to work independently and effectively within international teams.
Language: Excellent German and good English (fluent, spoken and written).
Nice to Have
Knowledge of telecommunications technologies (ISDN, PSTN, GSM, GPRS).
Experience working within Security Operations Centers or critical monitoring environments.
Experience leading or supporting IT implementation and migration projects.
Working conditions
Travel:Some travel may be required
For this position, we offer a minimum salary of € 4200 gross per month (based on full-time employment, including the overtime allowance ). Depending on qualifications and professional experience, there is a willingness to overpay
