Marmelo is located within Hyde Melbourne Place and operated by multi award-winning, restaurateurs - Ross & Sunny Lusted.
As a Section Waiter in Marmelo, you will be responsible for managing your own section, ensuring high levels of service are consistently delivered. You'll be the face of the restaurant to our guests – welcoming, serving, and engaging with them to ensure they enjoy a seamless dining experience.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide efficient and attentive service to guests within your section
Take orders accurately and deliver food and beverages with confidence and care
Always maintain cleanliness and presentation of your section
Work collaboratively with kitchen and bar teams to ensure smooth service flow
Handle guest queries or feedback professionally and promptly
Requirements:
Previous experience in a fine dining establishment or hatted restaurant is preferred.
Exceptional customer service skills, strong communication abilities, and a polished demeanour.
Proficiency in wine service and an understanding of food and beverage pairings.
A keen eye for detail to ensure all aspects of service meet high standards.
Must have a valid Victorian RSA
Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
