Siemens Mobility Thailand is looking for a Section Manager- SIG/PSD (CBTC) in Bangkok office.

This is your role. What part will you play?

You will be responsible for management and supervision the Shift Leaders, Engineers, Technician and Workers, who are employed within the SIG/PSD Maintenance as well as any temporary personnel within this section.

The key responsibilities will include but not limited to:

  • Lead and supervise all SIG/PSD (CBTC) personnel, including Shift Leaders, Engineers, Technicians, Workers, and temporary staff, ensuring effective workforce management and high performance.
  • Establish, implement, and continuously improve the technical management system for CBTC signalling and PSD, including procedures, workflows, documentation, and performance controls.
  • Oversee the technical condition, operational reliability, and regulatory compliance of CBTC wayside/onboard systems and PSD installations.
  • Plan, coordinate, and supervise daily maintenance operations, including resource allocation, performance monitoring, fault analysis, and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance system availability.
  • Ensure workforce competency and safety by driving training programs, coaching, certification compliance, and strict adherence to railway safety standards and hazard-control requirements.
  • Manage budget, materials, and spare parts to ensure availability and cost control, while supporting the Head of Maintenance in strategic planning, incident readiness, and team capability development.

Use your skills to move the world forward.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Electronics, or Railway Engineering (or related field), with strong knowledge of signalling systems and CBTC.
  • Proven experience in maintenance management of railway signalling or similar safety-critical systems, including compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Leadership and team management skills, with experience in planning, supervising, and developing technical staff competency.
  • Analytical and problem-solving ability, capable of monitoring performance data, interpreting fault trends, and implementing reliability improvement measures.
  • Strong safety and quality orientation, ensuring adherence to safety rules, hazard-control requirements, and robust documentation practices.
  • Excellent command of spoken and written Thai; good proficiency in English communication.
