In support of achieving excellence and business results through safe, reliable operations, our Outages and On-Line Work Management organization is currently hiring for a Section Manager, Scheduling to support Work Management.
Reporting to the Department Manager, On-line Work Management, the successful incumbent will be responsible for driving overall process improvement/change initiatives within Outages and Online Work Management while ensuring full compliance with safety and environmental standards and expectations.

Key Responsibilities:
Building credibility within Nuclear Operations, trusted by and trusting of all staff.
Leading a team to administer, enhance and innovate in Maximo, P6, reporting and data modelling and analysis.
Enabling decision making and supporting the team through working knowledge of Maximo Data Structures, Bruce Power chosen tools and platforms for data mining, reporting, application development and interfaces.
Maintaining knowledge of changes in industry best tools and practices to allow for continual innovation and improve efficiency while removing any risks possible.
Ensuring that operation experience feedback requirements (where appropriate to the team) are met.
Ensuring that all team members are trained, developed, and equipped to administer the tools and processes, in line with business needs and to defined standards.
Integrating learning opportunities, where appropriate to the team.
Maintain up-to-date section documentation which lays down procedures for ensuring that correct and safe practices are followed, and plant reliability and availability are maintained at a high standard.
Ensure service levels are defined, monitored, and benchmarked.
Proactive building of stakeholder relations to ensure reports are user friendly, accurate to current business needs and updates are communicated and supported.
Ensuring that current standards and changes to standards and business objectives in the broader company are understood and managed to remain in compliance.
Assisting with preparation and monitoring plans and strategies for continuous improvements; working closely with Management teams to develop and implement strategies and policies to achieve set business objectives.
Assisting with the development and implementation of strategies, policies, standards, job aids, and desktop guides to achieve commercial improvements.
Promoting and embedding the Bruce Power values and behaviours at all levels within the Section and the Department, aligning these values to a culture of continuous business improvement.
Maximizing effective use of time and personal ability; working flexibly within own range of competence, undertaking the appropriate training to development skills and abilities to meet the needs of the business.
Lead the development and optimization of reporting frameworks and analytics solutions to support operational excellence and strategic decision making.
To provide reports on process status to Senior Management.
Perform other duties as required.
Knowledge and Skills:
Excellent organization, planning, time management and project management abilities. Proven ability to meet deadlines with grace under pressure.
Excellent level of written, verbal and presentation skills.
Excellent stakeholder management.
Ability to effectively communicate to senior management and external stakeholders.
Technical Maximo, P6, automation tools, API integrations and data visualizations, modern data platforms (e.g. databricks, cloud based BI tools) and data governance frameworks (unity catalog or equivalent) Experience considered an asset
Standard IT Change Management and standards considered an asset
Education and Experience
This knowledge is considered to be normally acquired either through the successful completion of a four-year University education (Engineering program, Civil/Electrical/Mechanical) or by having the equivalent level of education.
A period of over 8 and up to and including 10 years is considered necessary to gain this experience.
