Job Description

Join us as a Portfolio Governance & Risk Management professional, where youll lead a team of talented Enterprise Technology & Security (ETS) professionals in Business Operations. Youll help develop and implement a strategic plan to optimize ETS demand for the next rate case and beyond. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to strategic planning, enhance value for customers, and strengthen your Risk Management and Demand Management competencies.

This position does not provide employment pursuant to the terms of a STEM OPT Training Plan.

Core Responsibilities

  • Manage ETS response to rates cases, including white paper creation, white paper review, testimony drafting, responding to interrogatories, rebuttal testimony drafting, and negotiations
  • Direct and engage ETS stakeholders to keep them informed of the rate case process, necessary actions, and coordinate ETS responses to inquiries from the PSC and intervenors
  • Develop, implement, and maintain a rate case playbook that drives operational excellence
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with other rate case leads and other relevant teams
  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders to ensure that ETS rate case filings are aligned with the company's strategic objectives and priorities
  • Lead in the development of AI agents that will support the rate case effort
  • Understand, manage, and track risks associated with portfolio of projects
  • Support the entry of all rate case requests through the demand management process
  • Prepare ETS Leadership for potential litigation and Enterprise Risk Management Review
  • Assist with the creation and maintenance of the ETS 5 year and Long Range Plan
  • Monitor and track ETS rate case performance metrics as needed
  • Must be flexible and able to work off-hours as required to support rate case efforts or corporate emergencies
  • Perform other related tasks and assignments as required
  • Lead and develop a team through coaching, performance management, and effective work assignment to drive aligned execution and business outcomes

Required Education/Experience

  • Bachelor's Degree and a minimum of 8 years of relevant work experience or
  • Master's Degree and a minimum of 6 years of relevant work experience

Preferred Education/Experience

  • Master's Degree in Information Technology, Business, Computer Science, or Engineering or related field and a minimum of 6 years of relevant work experience in information technology, business, regulatory compliance, or a related field

Relevant Work Experience

  • A minimum of 6 years of experience leading initiatives and working with large groups of stakeholders, required
  • Supervisory or leadership experience, required
  • Working knowledge of the utility rate case process, including regulatory filings, stakeholder engagement, discovery, testimony, and negotiations, preferred
  • Experience with Agile methodology, required
  • Experience with emerging technologies, automation, AI, or digital transformation initiatives, preferred
  • Experience with preparing executive-level communications, presentations, reports, or briefing materials, required
  • Experience working in a highly regulated, operationally complex, or critical-infrastructure environment, preferred

Additional Physical Demands

  • The selected candidate will be assigned a System Emergency Assignment (i.e., an emergency response role) and will be expected to work non-business hours during emergencies, which may include nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Available to work off hours as operationally required
