1.
To set goals, objectives and priorities for Sourcing and Parts development team members &ensure both financial & non-financial KPIs are on closely tracked and surpassed
2.
Establish mid to long-term Procurement strategy for Key commodities, participate and jointly develop Global lead buying strategies together with Global Lead Buyers
3.
Close monitoring of ANP targets (weekly), identify opportunities & mitigate risks timely and ensure achievement of joint material cost efficiency targets set for the year/achievement of material cost efficiency target of ~2% year-over-year and so on
4.
Provide raw material forecasts (monthly), track plan Vs actuals, report deviations from time to time and help steer RM management inline with Global RM management guidelines
5.
Review adequacy of techno-commercial agreements, awarding plan, proto parts ordering, timely release of Tooling POs, series contracts for New Product Projects & Change requests
6.
On Time Order - to - delivery for C/D Sample, PPAP completion and Ramp-up support (including timely escalations to key stake holders) for all New Product Projects
7.
APQP/PPAP documentation for all new part awarding, IMCS, FQM, ECN, Supplier Relocation, Tool Modification, Relocation & Resourcing projects as per agreed timelines
8.
Maintain high level of engagement with Suppliers partners and leverage supplier network to realize competitive advantage for Daimler trucks network (local and global)
9.
Enhance Best Sourcing Country opportunities for respective commodities and create win-win opportunities for Daimler Truck entities and also from Suppliers
10.
Maintain high standards of Integrity & Compliance, ensure strict adherence to defined Daimler Truck, Procurement & Supplier Management policies, guideline and processes
11.
Develop High performing Team – Coach & mentor team members to realize full potential, identify training needs, encourage continuous learning & conduct performance reviews
Graduate/Post Graduate in any Engineering Discpline , preferably additional qualification in Business Administration
Experience
15-20 years of Procurement & Supply Chain Experience in reputed Automotive OEMs (or) Tier1s
