ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Answer phones with general knowledge of all activities of the building
• Provide passes and tardy notes to appropriate students
• Meet and greet all visitors, vendors, staff and students
• Receive and distribute all incoming mail
• Maintain volunteer data base
• Perform secretarial duties including typing and filing
• Other duties assigned

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

• Ability to carry out instructions furnished in written or oral form
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide, and perform arithmetic operations as needed
• Familiarity with district data information systems (e.g. DASL, etc.)
• Ability to work with a diverse group of individuals
• Ability to maintain confidentiality of information regarding students, employees and others
• Ability to establish and maintain cooperative working relationships with students, staff and others contacted in the course of work
• Ability to report work orally or in writing to supervisor as required
• Effective written and verbal communication skills

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

• Must Have High School Diploma or GED
• Experience using District software applications is a plus
• Excellent attendance and strong work ethic is a must
• High level of ethical behavior and confidentiality of information
