Job Description

A part-time secretarial position is available in Ohel’s Day Habilitation Program, serving individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in Queens.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date staff training records, certifications, and compliance documentation
  • Manage organized and confidential client records, ensuring information is accurate and properly documented
  • Assist with billing processes, including reviewing documentation, entering information, and following up on outstanding items
  • Coordinate and maintain daily staff and client schedules, including updates, changes, and coverage needs
  • Provide general administrative and clerical support to the program and management team
  • Answer phones, respond to routine inquiries, and communicate with staff, clients, and families as needed

Candidates should possess strong organizational skills, the ability to effectively manage multiple priorities, and extensive experience in Microsoft Office. Position includes a competitive benefits package that includes a 403B retirement plan, sick and vacation paid time off (PTO) and health insurance. Eligibility for all benefits is based on hours worked, employment classification, and fulfillment of applicable waiting periods and plan requirements. This part time position is 20 hours a week and is based in Queens.

Salary: $17.00 per hour
