Salary: $23.063, $23.738, $24.437, $25.155, $25.896

Shared Health leads the planning and coordinates the integration of patient-centered clinical and preventive health services across Manitoba. The organization also delivers some province-wide health services and supports centralized administrative and business functions for Manitoba health organizations.

Reporting to the Manager - Clinical Engineering, the incumbent performs administrative and secretarial function for the Regional Director, Engineers, and Lab supervisor, including: coordinating in-coming telephone calls, arranging meetings, routing written correspondence in and out of the department, coordinating reports, tracking selected financial accounts, maintaining the office filing system, and administering the departmental library. The incumbent performs data entry functions related to specific departmental activities, including: workload measurement, performance assurance program, Clinical Engineering internal and external billing system, and the Clinical Engineering medical equipment inventory.

Experience

  • One year related secretarial experience required.

Education (Degree/Diploma/Certificate)

  • Complete high school education, Manitoba standards, required.
  • Successful completion of a recognized secretarial training program required.
  • A combination of education and experience may be considered.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Typing 50 wpm and demonstrated proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Access) required.
  • Must have good mathematical skills.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills are essential.
  • Must be well organized and able to meet deadlines for specific tasks while continuing to perform routine duties.
