About the Role:
As a Secondary History and Politics Teacher, you will inspire students to develop a genuine interest in political ideas, systems and global issues, delivering engaging lessons across a full range of abilities. You will plan and teach high-quality lessons, using varied approaches to challenge and support every learner, while maintaining high expectations for achievement and behaviour. You will assess progress effectively, using data to inform your teaching and help students reach their potential. Alongside your classroom responsibilities, you will contribute to the wider school community through tutoring, extracurricular activities and collaboration with colleagues, all while promoting a positive, inclusive learning environment and upholding safeguarding at all times.
This is a permanent, full-time role, with a start date of 31/08/2026.

Who We Are Looking For:
You are a passionate and motivated teacher with a strong commitment to delivering excellent outcomes for all students. You bring excellent organisational skills, a collaborative approach and a clear understanding of effective teaching and assessment strategies. A recognised teaching qualification (such as a PGCE or equivalent) underpins your practice, and you are dedicated to continuous professional development. You thrive in a team environment, show initiative and adapt positively to change. Most importantly, you have a genuine enthusiasm for working with young people and a deep commitment to their wellbeing, progress and success.
