ISD #316, Greenway Public Schools, is accepting applications for a Communications/Language Arts Teacher at the Greenway High School. MN License in 7-12 Communiciations/Language Arts preferred.

JOB REQUIREMENTS/PREFERENCES:

• Minnesota 7-12 Communications/Language Arts license
• Experience working within a rural community.
• Demonstrated successful experience as classroom teacher.
• Experience with formative assessment.
• Understanding and demonstrated success in development and implementation of differentiated instruction.
• Other life and career experiences in the field a bonus to support partnerships with local colleges along with interest in teaching College in the Schools level courses if qualified.
• Positive and creative personality.
• Eager to serve in a progressive district with supportive administration and school board.
• Provide a cover letter, online application, licensure, transcripts and 2-3 professional reference letters.

General Responsibilities:
Use effective instructional strategies to develop in each pupil an awareness of the role of Communication/Language Arts in economic and social progress; to motivate each pupil to acquire knowledge of facts and principles and skills utilizing Communiation/Language Arts in problem solving. Willingness to partner with colleagues in multi-disciplinary approaches as well as participate in College In the School offerings through the local community college.

Salary Range - $44,715 - $85,749
