Job Description

Position:

Secondary Chief Class VI

Effective Date:

ASAP

Salary:

Class VI: Starting at $24.67 - $30.32 plus applicable stipends

Hours:

8 hours per day - 1st shift (7:00am - 3:30pm)

5 days per week

261 days - 12 months

Description:

This Chief will oversee custodial operations at Oak Grove Middle School

Requirements:

  • Chief "C" Boilers License (or ability to obtain within 6 months)
  • Certified Pool Operator License (or ability to obtain within 6 months)
  • Operation and preventive maintenance of HVAC, Electrical, and Plumbing systems.
  • Operation of energy management system (Siemens Building Automation)
  • Operation of varying types of Custodial and Grounds equipment
  • Computer skills and software operation including Skyward, CMMS(Emaint), Gmail
  • Cleaning practices, procedures and planning
  • Multi site supervision
  • Ability to communicate with all staff
  • Able to lift 60 lbs
  • Acceptable attendance record
  • Must be able to work flexible hours
  • Must pass physical and physical ability test
  • Manage all preventive maintenance
  • Ability to evaluate employee performance to department policy
  • Maintain a balance budget
  • Ability to work independently
  • Good organizational skills
  • Valid driver's license
  • All other duties as assigned

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience supervising others
  • Experience maintaining energy management systems
  • 5 Years of experience maintaining HVAC systems
